Buhle Student Houses can best be described as student villages. It consists of houses, adjacent to VUT, that were bought to create a home-away-from-home environment for students. The houses bought were converted into custom build student accommodation currently housing 542 students. The houses are grouped to form three secure complexes with entertainment areas, 6 study areas, and 4 swimming pools surrounded by beautiful gardens. Two properties are located opposite the main entrance of VUT, a third 120 meters away from the main gate, and all the residences only 4.6km away from NWU. Buhle provides a bus shuttle service.
